The intention to buy is usually there, but not all shopping moments ultimately result in an actual purchase. Considering the addictive nature of shopping, it is but wise to tackle its financial aspect.
Shopping is simply the act of spending money in exchange for a particular product or service. Many people buy for the satisfaction of a need, while others for sheer enjoyment. Shopping as a form of leisure is well and good as long as the individual knows his or her spending limits. Consumers must not allow themselves to fall into any kind of marketing trap and later run on an empty wallet, low bank balance, and dried up credit. When this happens, the shopper can no longer associate shopping with fun nor fulfilment.
